Perhaps the medium really is the message. That's how it seemed when Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert posted his angry rant on the LeBron James affair on NBA.com. Reaction was strong-- not to his arguments, but the unbelievable font choice he made. Comic Sans! Isn't that for "generally reserved for older ladies sending out chain emails about kittens or preteens flirting on MSN Messenger?"

"The Jensen Project" is showing this Friday on NBC, and promises a lot of family espionage a la Spy Kids, chase scenes, and technological wizardry. Should be fun.

Apparently, Muslims do not want to read about Clifford the Big Red Dog. The American school publisher Scholastic is on a rare and very touchy mission to translate books to a part of the world that typically despises American values... and the first thing they had to do was figure out which of our books were offensive.
