Sixteen days and counting...

If you read the latest headlines on The Drudge Report, we should all just jump off the nearest bridge now because the swine flu will be the end of us.  However, I'm living in Fort Influenza -- day 16 -- and have still not gotten the H1N1 virus.

It started with my husband, then my daughter, now my son. At first, I stayed six feet away from David and Camille, threw food in the door, and washed the flesh off my hands as I scrubbed away the fear. But sixteen days later?  Austin and I are hanging out on the couch reading books.  Heck, yesterday, we even did this.  (Our first.  Wait til you see today's masterpiece!)

At times like these, it's beneficial to take the "glass half full" approach, which -- as best I can determine -- is that at least there's enough frivolity left in the world for events like this
