Sick of this

My husband David got the H1N1 flu last Tuesday, and today is finally feeling like himself again.  In the meantime, my daughter Camille got it. This began a week-long battle against germs.  Armed only with Lysol, bleach, and the ability to quarantine, my son Austin and I lived upstairs while David and Camille lived in what they affectionately called "Fort Influenza."

It's completely shut us down.  We've had to cancel flights, speeches, pool parties, and even a murder mystery party where you go as a character.  In fact, the entire town is stricken with this swine flu -- our school even shut down for three days.

Today, however, is a new day.  Finally, we were going to get up, go swimming at a friend's house, and be reunited with friends.

But when Austin came down the stairs this morning?  "My throat hurts."

Sigh...  So I unpacked the swim bag and got out the Tylenol.

I'm the only one (so far!) who hasn't gotten ill.  But I'm quite sick of this!
