To put in your queue...

I had a wonderful time in Boston talking to some people who will be working on the newest SixSeed Video materials, and  we got to talking about movies.

One of my all-time favorite films is Sergeant York, a poignantly deep drama of an Ozark hillbilly working hard to get some “bottom land” – land more suitable for farming than the “high lands.”  Released during WWII, this film was a wildly successful depiction of York’s amazing military career.  I watched this movie first with my dad, and it made me proud to be a Tennessean and proud to be an American.  (A note about suitability: I watched this with my 6 year old boy and 8 year old girl. This movie, starring Gary Cooper, would be wonderful for all ages.)

Perhaps you could put it in your queue if you think this old black and white flick might appeal to your kids.
