After Labor Day, everyone seems to start at least thinking about their holiday plans.
(Does every family do the "should we do the meal at my house or your house" dance? This year, my sister-in-law has a new house so maybe we'll go there to check out the duds!)
As you think about the holidays,what about shaking things up a bit? Invite a recently immigrated family to join you in your Thanksgiving feast. Talk to your kids about creating a dish from your guests’ home country. Have them cook it and serve it!
