School of Character

If you were to read just one article from Sunday's New York Times, perhaps it should be the one about the public school that Ted Ginn founded in Cleveland.

Although Ginn himself never went to college, he has created an exemplary school where none have dropped out. By comparison, only half of high school students in Cleveland actually finish.  Over 100 Ginn Academy students have been rewarded with athletic scholarships for college. To get these results, Ginn devotes himself tirelessly to the students. "I'm going to die working...I don't know what everyone else lives for. This is what I live for, so I'm going to die working."
