Just two weeks after a getting a concussion, quarterback Tim Tebow was back on the field against Louisiana State. And play he did.
It wasn't just that he led Florida to a victory, but how he played. In the words of Florida coach Urban Meyer: “ 'Courageous is a great word,' Meyer said of Tebow’s performance. 'Toughness. Team-first mentality. Competitor. I could go on and on, but it’s all of the above.' " Before the game, Tebow had stenciled a powerful quote about giving thanks in all circumstances on his eye black. This wasn't lost on the Times reporter: "After the game, Tebow hugged teammates with a wide smile. He was giving thanks, regardless of the circumstances."
