I Played The Tape, But My Baby's Still Not Einstein

So get a refund. According to this article in the New York Times, the Baby Einstein Company will allow families to claim a refunds as part of a settlement over false claims of the educational benefits of the materials.
The article notes that the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no screen time at all for those under two years of age. It goes on to quote an executive from the Kaiser Family Foundation, "To me, the most important thing is reminding parents that getting down on the floor to play with children is the most educational thing they can do."
