Courage on the Big Screen

What does courage look like in recent films? Steven Hunter, former movie reviewer for the Washington Post, says that "courage, in film, has largely gone the way of the dodo."

Hunter argues for a definition of courage different than just nonchalance under gunfire, or a "speaking the truth to power" that is powered by a conventional, accepted "truth." Along the way, he provides a slew of good recommendations for films that you might want to add to your rental queue.
