Dear Friends,

As the summer is winding down and many of you are gearing up for a long Labor Day weekend, we wanted to send along a special note to you.

It’s rare to know someone with a book on the New York Times Best Sellers list. So when a friend accomplishes this status as a “best selling author,” it’s a big moment.

I’m happy to announce that not one but two of our SixSeeds contributors made the NYT Best Sellers list this summer.  Nathan Whitaker has lived on the list for twelve weeks in a row with the book he co-authored with Tim Tebow, “Through My Eyes.”  David and Nancy French authored a critically acclaimed memoir of their story of what happens when a person - rather a family - answers the call to serve their nation, in Home and Away: A Story of Family in a Time of War.  In addition to their personal memoir, Nancy also had another book out this summer – a NYT Best Seller -- she co-authored with Bristol Palin.  And lastly, we wanted to draw attention to a special book published by SixSeeds’ own Mike Flaherty, who is famous for amazing movies as well as books!  We hope you enjoy Juniper Berry by M. P. Kozlowsky, one of the great summer offerings of Walden Pond Press.

Since we can’t get together on the website and collectively raise a toast to honor their accomplishments, we’re doing the next best thing.  This week's edition of SixSeeds is all about books that our contributors either wrote or helped publish this summer.

We’re honored to be able to join in the fun celebration with our friends, and we hope you enjoy looking through three of their latest book offerings.
