In honor of National Adoption Month, SixSeeds is pleased to partner with people all across America who are helping orphans in various creative – and quite poignant – ways!
All month, you will see stories of these families, who often are making great sacrificed in order to bring these children into their “forever homes.”
To perhaps help just a bit, SixSeeds is giving away $2000 towards adoption expenses for families who are in the process of adopting. If you would like to enter, all you have to do is leave one comment below. We will accept comments during the entire month of November, so please spread the word to any families you know who are adopting.
Limit one (1) entry per person; NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington D.C. who are 18 or older as of date of entry.
We will notify the winner via e-mail on December 15th, 2010.

Love the articles. We started the adoption process 2yrs ago and about halfway into the process we started educating ourselves on HIV. We decided to adopt HIV children and got our referras for two boys shortly after. Then a little girl caught our attention she is 8yr old and also has HIV. Dear Six Seeds, we have a beautiful 5-year old daughter, Madi, whom we brought home from China when she was one year old. God called us to adopt again and last July we accepted a referral for a precious 2-year old boy. We named him Daniel. Daniel had Tetralogy of Fallot--four major heart defects. We searched our hearts and knew that God wanted Daniel to be a part of our family, so we traveled to China a brought him home last February. We cherished four amazing months with our son before his surgery took place on May 11th. To our sadness, Daniel fought hard but his little body couldn't recover, and we lost our precious son on May 30th.
We are heartbroken and know that we can't replace Daniel, yet we know that we still have the love to give to another child, so we have once again started the adoption process. We have accepted a referral for another little boy in China, and we hope to travel in the Spring to bring him home. He has a small hole in his heart, a reminder of his brother Daniel who will be shining down on him from above. Thank you for your consideration. This grant would really be helpful for us.

This will be a huge blessing to a family adopting! I am so excited to be able to follow your blog now. So much great info. We adopted a baby from Ethiopia last year (who came home after I was diagnosed with breast cancer which turned out to be a huge blessing!). We turned in our paperwork for our next adoption yesterday and are really excited to be adding to our family again. Thanks for supporting adoptive families with this!
